Job Description

Job Description: Global Compensation Planning ManagerManages
the implementation of global compensation strategies and policies across all geographies to ensure that compensation remains competitive, attracts top talent, and complies with local laws and regulations. Lead the analysis of global workforce data to understand trends and identify opportunities.

Specifically, you will be in charge of the following business items.

Responsibilities 1
. Global Compensation Plan Management
- Manages the implementation of the Company's global compensation strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives and consistency and equity across geographies.
- Leads team members in the area of market analysis and benchmarking to assess the competitiveness of the Company's compensation package.
- Support the Global C&B Director as we review our current compensation structure, including base salary, incentives, bonuses, and equity plans, taking into account local market needs and talent retention strategies.
- Assists the Global C&B Director in the investigation and review of the Executive Benefit Programme.
- Work with CHROs and local HR to ensure effective communication and understanding of global C&B policies across the organization.
- Regularly measure the effectiveness of compensation strategies using key metrics such as turnover, market competitiveness, and success of talent retention initiatives, and provide reports to global C&B Directors.
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide insights and suggestions to enhance your compensation strategy.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on compensation trends and practices to global C&B directors and CHROs.

2. Workforce Data Analytics and HR Metrics
- Support the implementation of the Workforce Planning Module, generate reports, communicate and educate key stakeholders, and optimize the tool.
- Analyze global workforce data, including demographics, turnover, labor costs, absenteeism, performance, and diversity indicators, to identify trends and opportunities.
- Use of analytical techniques to derive actionable insights that inform your workforce planning strategy.
- Design and oversee the creation of HR metrics reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all workforce-related reports.

3. Global Grading
- Support Global C&B Directors and enable global grading for all positions across all regions.

4. Line Management
- Provide training, coaching, regular feedback, and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and competencies to meet job requirements.
- Conduct annual reviews by setting goals and monitoring progress for team members.

5. Compliance and Regulatory Compliance
- Stay up-to-date on global compensation laws, data protection regulations, and trends, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry standards.
- Propose a review and adjustment of compensation policies to comply with legal requirements while aligning with company objectives.

Position: Global Compensation Manager

■Main Purpose:
Manage the implementation of our global compensation strategy and policy across all regions ensuring that our compensation attracts and retains top talent while remaining competitive and compliant with local regulations. Lead the analysis of global workforce data to identify trends and opportunities.

■Responsibilities:
1. Global Compensation Management
• Manage the implementation of the company's global compensation strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives as well as consistency and fairness across regions.
• Direct the team members in the area of market analysis and benchmarking to evaluate the competitiveness of our compensation packages.
• Support the Director Global C&B with any reviews of our current compensation offering, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and equity plans, considering local market needs and talent retention strategies.
• Support the Director Global C&B in the research and review of Executive Benefit programs
• Partner with the CHROs and local HR to ensure effective communication and understanding of the Global C&B policy across the organization.
• Regularly measure the effectiveness of the compensation strategy using key metrics such as turnover rates, market competitiveness, and the success of talent retention initiatives and provide reports for the Director Global C&B.
• Analyze compensation data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to enhance compensation strategies.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on compensation trends and practices to the Director Global Compensation and Benefits and CHRO

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in all workforce-related reporting.

3. Global Grading
• Support the Director Global C&B to achieve global grading of all roles in all regions, further enhancing the transparency of career steps to help employees take ownership of their own careers

4. Line Management
• Provide training, coaching, regular feedback and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and competencies to fulfil the job requirements
• Conduct annual reviews by setting targets and monitoring progress of team members to ensure deliver of agreed goals

5. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
• Stay updated on global compensation laws, data protection regulations, and trends, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and industry standards across regions.
• Review and propose adjustments to compensation policies to comply with legal requirements while aligning with corporate objectives.

・学歴:学士号または修士号(関連する人事専門資格等もあればなお可)
・経験職種(年数)・経験内容):5年以上の報酬管理業務経験
・経験補足:
- グローバルな報酬慣行、規制、市場動向に関する深い知識
- データ分析ツール、MS エクセル、HRIS(人事情報システム) 機能に習熟した分析スキルを有すること。
・語学力:英語と日本語が堪能であること
・その他:
- 優れたコミュニケーション能力と交渉能力を有し、様々なレベルの関係者に影響を与えることができる。
- リーダーシップとチームマネジメント能力がある。

Essential condition
・academic background:Bachelor's or Master's degree and relevant HR professional certifications
・Type of work experience (years) and description of experience:5 years’ of progressive experience in compensation management, preferably in a multinational environment.
・Supplemental Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of global compensation practices, regulations, and market trends.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools, MS Excel, HRIS functionality
・language ability:Fluent in English and Japanese
・Other:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work well with HR Business Partners and members of the management team.
