The Real-World Evidence (RWE) Consultant / Senior Consultant (C/SC) will play a key role in managing and contributing to local, regional and global projects that will enhance understanding of the growing impact of RWE in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry landscape.

Reporting to a Functional Head or directly to a General Manager, the RWE C/SC will be responsible for leading or contributing to the design, development and delivery of projects or components of larger, complex projects as required, as well as coaching junior team members. The RWE C/SC will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development activities via proposal development, new business identification and offering development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to/lead RWE-related projects and project teams, including internal/external resources, to successful completion, on-time and on-budget
• Provide high-quality RWE subject matter expertise/ input to project methodology and client deliverables, and deliver significant portions of findings to client
• Serve as a key point of contact with clients and provide follow-up after project completion to ensure client satisfaction
• Support/lead new business opportunities through RWE customer relationship development and identification of follow-on work and new leads
• Contribute to/lead proposal development for RWE-related opportunities, including design and development of client solutions, with senior management input and support client pitches
• Identify future client/industry needs and lead the development of RWE products / offerings in conjunction with the senior team
• Proactively strengthen subject matter expertise on an ongoing basis through on-the-job experience, conference participation and other professional knowledge-sharing forums
• Develop RWE thought leadership, intellectual property, marketing & publications and take an active role in building Vista Health’s presence and reputation in RWE across and beyond Asia Pacific
• Build/cultivate external relationships: Develop relationships with regional clients, liaison with key stakeholder groups e.g. policymakers, providers, industry/academic groups etc. & lead academic partnership programme
• Identify data sourcing opportunities, potential use cases and develop business cases for investment opportunities
• Establish relationships and manage ongoing engagement with potential data sourcing and collaboration partners
• Dependent on experience, coaching responsibility, including coaching & performance management for junior team members and planning, organizing & managing resource needs

Skills and Qualifications:

• BA/BSc in Biomedical Science, Healthcare Data Science, Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Epidemiology & Biostatistics or related area is essential (MSc, MBA or higher degree preferred)
• Proven healthcare experience in either a consulting or Industry role – e.g. RWE primary / secondary data collection studies, HEOR, etc.
• Knowledge of the latest methodologies, tools and techniques related to the RWE functional area
• Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)
• Comfortable working in a high-energy small team environment and able to work well under pressure
• Able to identify priorities in managing multiple projects and delivering projects within timeline and scope
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, including delivering a storyboard in a logical and coherent manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Japanese and English is required
