The Analyst / Senior Analyst will play a key role in contributing to local, regional and global projects that will enhance understanding of the healthcare policy, HTA and market access landscape, as well as the vibrant life science and digital health industries.

Reporting to a functional lead, the Analyst / Senior Analyst will be responsible for contributing to the design, development and delivery of projects or components of larger, complex projects as required. The Analyst / Senior Analyst will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development activities via proposal development support, new business recognition and offering development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work on project teams in the development and delivery of consulting projects, including:
  • Design and conduct high-quality primary and/or secondary research for clients with input and review by colleagues.
  • Support the development of value dossiers, reimbursement submission dossiers, health economic models, evidence generation, patient insights and communications material for clients
  • Contribute to meetings with clients and internal teams
  • Performs qualitative and/or quantitative analyses and appropriate quality control
  • Contributes to designing, structuring, reviewing and delivering client reports and presentations
• Contribute to business growth by:
  • Recognizing opportunities for follow-on work & new leads
  • Supporting the development of proposals for new business opportunities
  • Contribute to client satisfaction
  • Supporting the development of intellectual property for use in future client engagements
• May have internal team contributions, including:
  • Buddying for new team members
  • Knowledge sharing

Skills and Qualifications:

• Fluency in Japanese and English is required
• Minimum a BSc in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science or related areas is essential (MSc or higher degree preferred)
• 1-3 years of experience in a life sciences consulting or industry role is preferred – e.g. commercial, commercial excellence or market access/policy/health outcomes
• Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)
• Able to identify priorities in managing multiple projects and delivering projects within timeline and scope
• Comfortable working in a high-energy small team environment and able to work well under pressure
• Knowledge of the latest methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, including delivering a storyboard in a logical and coherent manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Mandarin or Korean language would be an advantage
