As the Supervisor, International Transportation & Global Trade Management, you will work closely with teams across Japan and globally to support the reliable movement of products, drive operational improvements, and help maintain a resilient supply chain in a complex healthcare environment.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the uninterrupted supply and timely delivery of This company and it's group company's products to customers across Japan.

You will lead day-to-day import and export operations while partnering with Demand Planning, Warehousing, Logistics providers, and regional stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, transportation optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a highly collaborative role with visibility across multiple functions and international teams, offering the opportunity to influence key decisions that support this company's purpose of advancing healthcare outcomes.

Job Description：
・Lead and oversee import and export operations for this company and group company's products, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and service excellence.
・Drive transportation and logistics performance by analyzing freight structures and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
・Partner closely with Demand Planning, Warehousing, and external logistics providers to maintain a stable and reliable supply chain.
・Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and customer experience.
・Build strong relationships with domestic and international stakeholders to resolve operational issues and drive alignment.
・Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements：
・Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
・5+ years of experience within a freight forwarder, carrier, or logistics environment, with expertise in air and/or ocean freight
・Fluent Japanese and business-level English communication skills
・Strong understanding of customs regulations, international trade, and compliance requirements
・Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach
・Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with customers, suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders

Nice to Have：
・Experience using SAP and/or JDE
・People leadership or team management experience
・Knowledge of transportation cost modelling and optimization
・Experience working within a multinational or matrix organization
