Position Title: Head of HR Operations, Japan
Department: Human Resources
Reporting Line: Head of HR, Japan
As the Head of HR Operations and member of the Japan HR Leadership team, you will lead the Japan HR Operations function, driving excellence in service delivery, compliance, and process optimization.
This role is critical for shaping a scalable HR infrastructure that supports business growth and enhances employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
・Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the HR operations strategy aligned with organizational goals covering four legal entities (Siemens Healthcare, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Varian, and Acrorad)
・Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing HR operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
・Process Ownership: Drive end-to-end HR Operations onboarding, payroll, benefits, health and safety, policy administration, and offboarding. Roll out global HR process standards in alignment with local HR systems and operations.
・Budget Management: Manage the Japan HR Operations budget for four legal entities and for HR including bonus accruals, internal service level agreements.
・Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, data privacy regulations (GDPR), and internal policies globally. ・Lead internal and external audits related to payroll, work rules, and attendance management.
・Vendor & Partner Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with external service providers for payroll, benefits, etc.
・Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement best practices for efficiency and scalability.
Required Experience:
・10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 3-5 years of experience in payroll or similar functions
・Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance
・Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Workday and relevant HR systems.
Language Proficiency:
・Japanese: Fluent
・English: Business Level
