Job Summary:
The Principle IT Business Analyst in Japan will play a pivotal role in aligning IT initiatives with business goals, particularly within the commercial business supporting sales and marketing functions. This position involves leading complex projects, driving process improvements, and implementing Salesforce solutions and other advanced technology solutions to enhance efficiency and drive business growth.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead the analysis of business processes and workflows within the sales and marketing teams to identify areas for improvement and the implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Provide technical direction and oversight for Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to best practices.
- Implement scalable and secure Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.
- Develop and document high-level business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.
- Work with data sets to define use cases to improve products, processes and/or services.
- Conduct advanced data analysis to provide insights and strategic recommendations for decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and ensure IT solutions align with business goals and strategies, as well as collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.
- Manage and optimize CRM systems and other sales/marketing tools.
- Manage contracts and vendors to deliver operations and projects.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT, sales, and marketing.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other team members and guide in technical and functional areas.

- Language Skills: Speak, read, write fluently in both Japanese and English.

Requires 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
