【Job Description】
Main Tasks:
1. Manage and grow the ophthalmology team
2. Manage, guide and lead a team of sales people
3. Grow the sales of existing products
4. Grow the sales of future new products
5. Communicate with Eye-Lens in Singapore and sometimes with manufacturers
6. Travel sometimes to overseas congresses
【Desired profile】
Experience:
1. Experience of 10 years at least in the Ophthalmic Industry
2. Experience of 8 years at least in sales and marketing, with a successful track record of sales growth of ophthalmic medical devices products
3. Experience of 5 years at least in managing a sales team
4. Good level of English – Reading, listening, speaking, writing
5. Experience in dealing with overseas companies
6. Having a large network of relationships with ophthalmologists in Japan
7. Experience in working and dealing with KOLs
Personality:
1. Leader personality
2. Good communication and inter-personal skills
3. Able to handle high pressure
4. Able to take calculated risks (not just going for what is safe)
5. Able to communicate with doctors at “eye level”. Able to politely correct doctor if doctor is wrong
6. Able to give ideas not just follow
7. Sales oriented

Yearly Salary:
Approx JPY 10,000,000 - JPY 12,000,000 – depending on experience and fit
